Visiting Paris for 1 to 3 days

Visiting Paris for 1 to 3 days

Essential Paris tour

In the morning, start your Paris tour with a coffee on the Champs-Elysées. Leave the most beautiful avenue in the world and walk to the Eiffel Tower via Avenue George V which will take you to the Alma bridge. Appreciate the exceptional view of Paris and then travel along the Seine by boat from the quayside right at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

After lunch in front of Notre-Dame de Paris on the 'Ile de la Cité', continue your day at the Louvre Museum. Finish your Paris tour by watching the sun set over the city from the breathtaking viewpoint in front of the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre.

The special shopping tour

Start the tour on the Grands Boulevards where the capital's famous department stores are located, including the famous Galeries Lafayette in the Haussmann district. Then head to a district renowned for its designer boutiques and unusual shops: the Marais.

End your day in the Champs-Elysées district, temple of fashion and luxury. Stroll along Avenue Montaigne and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré where you can window-shop and discover artists' galleries.

Romantic tour of Paris

This tour starts in the Montmartre district. Wander down the streets for a coffee with a view of the Sacré-Cœur cathedral. A ride on Montmartre's little 'Petit Train' will set you up nicely for the rest of the day.

Don't miss the Place des Abbesses and its 'Je t'aime' wall, and the Place des Artistes, where you can get a portrait to take home, before visiting the Musée de la Vie Romantique and finally going down into the Marais district.

Strolling hand in hand, you will soon come to the Place des Vosges. After a visit to the Père Lachaise museum, end this Parisian tour with a visit to the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.

Paris by river

Why not keep cool while visiting Paris? Get a fresh view of Paris by booking a cruise on the Seine, which will take you past Quai Branly and the Quai d'Orsay.

If you don't want to go on a cruise, you can always get a view of the Seine from the middle of the Alexandre III bridge, which links les Invalides to the Grand and Petit Palais. The romantics amongst us will choose the Pont des Arts, known the lovers' bridge, or the Ile de la Cité, which is the perfect place for a picnic on a sunny summer day. If you want to go for a walk, on your own or with your travel companions, the Ile Saint-Louis is a real haven of peace located on the Seine River.

For families, the Parc Rives de Seine is a place for riverside walks and leisure activities in the heart of the capital. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park has a variety of facilities, including a children's playground, picnic areas, terraces and cafes, a climbing wall, and petanque courts. The location also has a magnificent view of Paris monuments.

Paris by night tour

If at all possible, don't miss the view of the Eiffel Tower in the evening, when it is decked out in its glittering golden cloak and lights up for five minutes every hour. Although the illuminated tower is a sight in itself, nothing beats the feeling of enjoying the beautiful view of the entire capital from the top. Another way to enjoy the night view of the City of Light is from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, which is located at Place Charles de Gaulle in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.

The Avenue des Champs-Elysées is very popular, often thought of as one of the main tourist attractions of Paris, and many tourists consider it the most beautiful avenue in the world. Why not have dinner there?

You can enjoy the city of light in all its glory by discovering the city on board our Paris La Nuit tour.

Partying in Paris

Paris is not only the city of light and the city of love, but also a city where the party can go on all night long! While the capital is full of things to do and places to visit during the day, you shouldn't forget to experience Parisian nightlife as well!

If you want to dance the night away, the Marais district with its various bars and clubs is the place for you. Before you head out, be sure to recharge your batteries in one of Montmartre's little bistros while watching a beautiful sunset to end your daytime on a high note. If you prefer to stick to the banks of the Seine, there are plenty of boats where you can spend an unforgettable night.

For musicians or those who enjoy an evening with music, Belleville, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, is the place to be. There are lots of bars in the area, featuring wide-ranging styles of music. All you have to do is choose!
